Qigong combines gentle exercise, breathing techniques, acupressure points, and visualizations to enhance your mind/body connection and promote overall harmony and well-being. It has similarities to Tai Chi and Yoga, but with a particular focus on balancing energy–the name literally means “energy work.”

Rory’s Gentle Qigong class is accessible to people at any fitness level and is adaptable to accommodate physical limitations. No special equipment or clothing is required. You’ll feel benefits right away!

Rory’s approach

Rory was trained in Qigong by Master Wasentha Young of the Peaceful Dragon School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She specializes in Five Element Theory, the cycle of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water that flows through the year and helps us focus on the right thing at the right time.


Qigong provides a means to acknowledge and process the emotions of everyday life, to deal with what’s overwhelming, and cultivate spiritual resilience.

Please note that Qigong students must agree to the Client/Student Liability Waiver in order to participate in classes.
