Coach Rory was recently interviewed by the Jeju Voice (제주의 소리) about her course, “Rocks, Wind, and Women: Environment and Identity on Korea’s Jeju Island.” This course examined the geology and biodiversity of Jeju in conjunction with its culture, politics, and history to form a close-up understanding of the island, and help students understand complex local issues all over the world. This was a tremendously fun course to teach, and Rory would like to thank all of her amazing students, and the many people who love Jeju and helped her plan this course!
