Happy summer, Qigong friends!
Despite my sensitivity to pollen, I love this time of year. Especially here in the Upper Midwest, after months and months of ice and sticks, one day you look out at the world and it’s suddenly bursting with green. It might as well be a fire, the way it catches!
We are in peak Yang season–activity, expansion, excitement! The heart is at the center of summer’s fire element, as is its emotion of joy. But the heart’s truest joy comes from peace and order, and it can get easily overwhelmed. It’s a good time of year, then, too, for meditation!
I’ve cooked up two very different meditations for you: a quick two-minute breathing exercise that requires no movement, and a longer moving meditation from the Wild Goose form.
I hope this helps you take a little mindfulness break during this exciting time!
Our next summer live class is this Saturday, May 30! The next classes will be June 27, July 25, August 29, all at 11am Eastern
Email me at rory@momentuscoaching.com for the zoom link and password!
As usual, classes are $15, and you’ll receive the link to the recording to watch in perpetuity. Just come to class and I will send an invoice along with the link!
See you soon!
